All the farmers from this Inga indigenous community resides in the small village of Aponte that is deep in the mountains of Narino. The producers make half of their crop honey, which began four years ago looking for better prices and the other half, washed. Due to the village being deep in the Juanambu canyon, it is rich with definite wet and dry seasons allowing it ideal for production of honey coffee. It is produced and dried with 100% mucilage intact on raised beds under plastic canopies and heavy winds help even drying between 20-45 days.
